FLAMMABILITY

Depending on the test method specified, flammability tests determine critical safety factors such as:
• Ease of ignition
• Rate of flame propagation
• After-flame duration (period of continued burning after ignition source is extinguished)
• After-glow (period of glowing after burning ends).

We offer flammability testing according to specifications applicable to the following:
  •
  • FURNITURE UPHOLSTERY
  • AVIATION UPHOLSTERY
  • AUTOMOTIVE UPHOLSTERY
  • GARMENT

We are particularly well qualified to perform the various flammability tests because our senior research associate, Kadir Donmez, completed post graduate research into the flammability of leather, achieving an MSc for his work at the University of Cincinnati in 1986.
